President-Elect: Malissa Jones

It is an honor to serve as the President-Elect.  Having previously served as a District Director, I have worked closely with many of you through professional development and our annual conference.  these experiences have helped me understand the unique challenges and triumphs within our classrooms and schools across the state.

As President-Elect, I am eager to expand GSTA’s reach and deepen the organization's impact on science education and student achievement across the state of Georgia. My belief is that supporting teachers is the single most effective way to inspire students, and impact student achievement.  By strengthening our support systems, connecting educators across our state, and increasing access to professional learning and high-quality research-based instructional strategies, we can empower educators to elevate their committment to Science eduation and foster an environment where all teachers excel.
